Trapezoid diamonds are the most aggressive type of diamond available for grinding.  They are most commonly used for the removal of the initial coat of dirt, oil, or thin mill coating (including thinset/mortar).  Because they are so much more aggressive than resins, these screw to the head, or can be attached using the patented magnetic Quick-Change System (on the accessories page).

Our Trapezoid Diamonds are available in 3 different types:

Economy- 4,000-7,000 square feet
These are a good choice for residential and small commercial applications, where you're on a tight budget and only need your diamonds to last for 1 job.

Professional- 7,000-12,000 square feet
As the next step up, these are the most popular choice for contractors who use their grinders at least once every month.  They have a good life span and leave a higher quality scratch pattern than most diamonds on the market today.

Premium- 30,000-70,000 square feet.
The highest quality diamonds on the market today, these diamonds can last up to 5 times longer than the Professional Grade, at less than twice the cost.  Even under the most sever grinding conditions they will last more than twice as long.
